There will be no trade war between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov is convinced.

"In this situation, I was surprised by the reaction of some of our politicians, who were enthusiastic about the alleged trade war between Ukraine and Russia. I can responsibly say that there will be no war. I would advise these politicians to think: is any trade war with our largest partner in our national interest? " PM posted on Facebook, communicating with users on Friday.

"By the way, in my opinion, these wars are not in the interests of Russia as well. Therefore, we are determined to make every effort to resolve existing disputes. Well, our people have to make appropriate conclusions from all of these events," he added.

Azarov reminded that Ukrainian government delegation led by vice Prime Minister Yuri Boiko urgently flew at a meeting in Moscow, where meeting with first vice Prime Minister of Russia Igor Shuvalov was held.

"It has been agreed that representatives of the Ukrainian and Russian customs services will meet on Monday and will work out all the issues, which today are classified as unresolved. In short, absolutely normal work to resolve those issues requiring further negotiation and consideration is conducted," Azarov stressed.

He expressed belief that such solutions will be found.
