Ukraine hopes that the decision to resume supplies of the Roshen confectionery products will be made soon. This was stated by agrarian policy and food minister of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk after talks in Moscow with head of Rospotrebnadzor Gennady Onishchenko.

According to him, the parties agreed to establish a commission to harmonize product standards.

"Today we have negotiated and signed a protocol providing for establishment of the Russian-Ukrainian commission, working group, which will hold meetings systematically twice a year - once in Russian Federation, the second time in Ukraine. It will work throughout the year to somehow harmonize standards, quality requirements," Prysiazhniuk said.

"Overall, we are satisfied with the talks. Understanding was reached. I am convinced that in the near future all the outlined actions will be implemented and decision on confectioneries will be made," he said.
