Ukraine reaches unique control parameters for mine safety, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said after a visit to Luhansk Center of coal industry complex safety.
As chairman of the State Service of Mining Supervision and Industrial Safety of Ukraine Oleksandr Khokhotva said, experts from the Centre of coal industry complex safety are watching the work of the mines around the clock.
In particular, one expert for 8 hours monitors work of four shafts.
According to Khokhotva, the voice and video system was created to provide a feedback, which allows real-time co-ordinatate and control the actions of supervisory staff and provides expert support in emergency situations.
