Customs offices of the Incomes and Fees Ministry of Ukraine work without interruption, ForUm correspondent learned from the Ministry’s press service.
According to the representative of the Ministry, after the statement appeared in the media that the Russian customs almost completely blocked the import of Ukrainian goods to the territory of the country, the Ministry checked all the posts on the border.
"We phoned all the posts, there are no problems there, all working in the normal mode", press service notes.
The representative of the Ministry also added that he could not comment on the situation on the Russian border. "We visited the website and viewed the customs surveillance, there are also no delays or problems with the return of machines, but I can not say specifically," he explained.
Meanwhile, according to the Federation of Employers of Ukraine posted, from yesterday all Ukrainian suppliers were recognized by the customs service of Russia as "risky" and are included in the relevant list. In this regard, representatives of the FEU appealed to Prime Minister Mykola Azarov with the request as soon as possible to help resolve the intergovernmental problems that began to occur at the Russian customs.
In turn, chairman of the Duma Committee on CIS Affairs Leonid Slutsky said that the difficulties with the passage of Ukrainian goods at the Russian customs are largely caused by bureaucracy, because Ukraine is not a member of the Customs Union. However, there is no politics in this.
Slutsky added that he hoped that before the end of August, the customs services of both countries will solve all the problems and stressed that the problem really is, but it can be solved as soon as possible.
