Management of military educational institutions will be optimized within reform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to achieve an optimal balance between the number of students enrolled and those who provide the learning process.

This was announced by deputy director of the department of military education and science Colonel Oleksandr Babenko told a briefing on the topic: "Beginning of school year 2013-2014. Results of the entrance examinations", ForUm correspondent reports.

He also emphasized the fact that the reform of the military education system will not lead to the elimination of a network of military educational institutions, or a change in their status.

In addition, according to Babenko, one of the activities under this reform is the spread of new schemes for the training of military specialists, as well as improving the quality of their training.

In particular, improving the quality of training of military men is planned at the expense of strengthening the military- oriented learning, increasing the amount of practical training in military vehicles.
