Kyrgyz experts found no violations of health standards in production of the Roshen Ukrainian confectionary company, as well as in other confectionery products from Ukraine, director of disease prevention and expertise department of the Health Ministry of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Tolo Isakov announced.

"We checked the confectionary, received from Ukraine, against overall toxicity, that is, against the content of heavy metals, arsenic, lead, zinc, against benzopyrene. All samples meet sanitary standards. No hazardous substances were detected," he noted.

Isakov explained that the samples were selected for analysis in various shops of the Republic, as well as in the markets. In addition to the Roshen company, all the products coming from Ukraine to Kyrgyzstan were tested. "All tested Ukrainian confectionery products is safe, people should not be afraid," he added.
