On Friday, Ukraine and Russia will hold talks on exports of the Roshen confectionery factory, agrarian policy and food minister of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk stated before the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.

"On Friday I will meet with the head of Rospotrebnadzor Gennady Onishchenko, and then we will hold expert-level talks on how to resolve the conflict around the Roshen confectionery factory”.

Prysiazhniuk said that the Ukrainian party at the talks will be represented by head of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Ukraine Anatoliy Ponomarenko, head of the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine Volodymyr Gorzheev.

The minister added that the Ukrainian party wants to hear the arguments of the Russian Federation, as it believes that the Roshen production meets all standards. "It's not just our opinion, but also the opinion of the countries, which buy this confectionaries and recognize its quality," he concluded.
