Government representative at the European Court of Human Rights Nazar Kulchytskyi plans to resign, justice minister of Ukraine Olena Lukash confirmed, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Yes, it's true," Lukash said, and added that this resignation is not related to the case of ex-minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
Meanwhile, the minister promised to report on possible candidates for the post of government commissioner at the European Court of Human Rights.
It should be noted that the government representative at the ECHR operates within the Justice Ministry and represents the interests of Ukraine in the European Court.
Kulchytskyi has held this position since April 2012.
