The accident at the Miskhor - Ai-Petri cable car ropeway was due to locking the pulley through which the rope passes, spokeswoman of the Territorial Administration of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol Oleksandra Latushko told ForUm correspondent.
"The cause has been pre-established. There was locking of the pulley through which the cable passes. Experts continue to work and find out why it happened," Latushko said.
