Head of the Russian Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor), chief state sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation Gennady Onishchenko said that talks with the Ukrainian delegation may be held this week in Moscow and he does not rule out the return of the Roshen company's products on the Russian market.
According to him, economy and agrarian policy ministers of Ukraine are expected to arrive in Moscow. When asked about the prospects of the return of the Roshen confectionery company products, Onishchenko said, "If all the requirements are met, if the system is adjusted, return is not excluded, of course".
"However, there is a lot of work to do. It is necessary for the product quality to be stable and guaranteed," Onishchenko noted.
According to him, he already had telephone consultations with Ukrainian partners.
