The prosecutor's office of Kyiv region began checking the actions of the police in controlling of the electronic means of tracking the former rector of the Tax Academy Petro Melnyk, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office informs.
Following the check, a legal assessment will be given to actions of the police officers.
"In particular, it will be checked whether there was a violation of a signal from an electronic device, what caused it, how the police officials responded to these violations, in general, what it was: negligence or purpose," the report says.
