The Ukrainian athletes, who won medals at the IX World Games in Cali (Colombia), were awarded the titles of honored masters of sports, youth and sports minister Ravil Safiullin told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
The minister reminded that Ukrainian athletes won 9 gold, 10 silver and 9 bronze medals, taking the sixth place.
In addition, the minister stressed that the government increased the size of bonus payments for the Ukrainian athletes, who won at such competitions.
