Lviv archaeologists discovered in the center of the city an Easter egg, which dates back to the XV-XVI centuries.
According to one of the archaeologists Ostap Lazurok, previously local scientists had not succeeded in finding such ancient Easter eggs. It was found at a depth of 5.5 meters.
“This Easter egg is made probably of a goose egg. It is very well preserved - by about 80-90%,” he noted.
Experts believe that this may be the oldest Easter egg not only in Lviv, but in whole Ukraine.
