Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Ukleba hopes that Ukraine will sign the Association Agreement with the EU at the summit of "Eastern Partnership" in November this year.
"We hope Ukraine will sign the agreement. I want to emphasize that Ukraine is ahead of us, we just initial the agreement and hope to become closer to Ukraine soon. Full economic integration of the country will happen thanks to that (signing of the Association Agreement. - Ed.)," the diplomat told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the ambassador, after the entry into force of the Association Agreement between the EU and Georgia, Georgia's exports to the EU will increase by 12%, while imports from the EU will increase by 7.5%. "In general, Georgia's GDP will grow by 4.3%," Ukleba predicts.
