Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych instructed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to provide all the necessary assistance to the people injured as a result of the ammonia blowout at Stirol Concern’s plant in Horlivka, Donetsk region, on August 6, the presidential press service reported on Tuesday.
The head of state instructed the government and, in particular health minister Raisa Bohatyriova, and head of Donetsk Regional State Administration Andriy Shyshatsky to provide those injured with all the necessary assistance.
The President also expects to receive a report soon from the government task force headed by deputy Prime Minister Yuriy Boiko, which is investigating the causes and aftermath of the accident, Interfax-Ukraine informed.
Yanukovych also ordered the government to take steps to improve safety at industrial enterprises of Ukraine.
