More than 90% of the confectionery samples of the Roshen company, checked by the Rospotrebnadzor, did not meet standards. This was said in a statement published on the official website of the Russian Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor).

"More than 90% of the samples of confectionery products did not meet regulatory requirements. The main reason for non-compliance is the failure to meet legislation in field of consumer protection (labeling requirements for food products - discrepancy of information on the nutritional value of products on the label), "the statement reads.

The Rospotrebnadzor notes that the Roshen products quality control continues.

The Service also stressed that currently there is considered a possibility of meeting with the Ukrainian authorities on compliance with the requirements of the Russian legislation on quality and safety in the supply of Roshen products to Russia.
