Belarus will not ban selling confectionary products of the Roshen Ukrainian company in the territory of the Republic, deputy health minister - chief public health physician Igor Gayevski stated.
"Inspection continues, but on the base of the already obtained results we do not see the need to ban the sale of Roshen products. There are no deviations from norms," he added.
However, Belarus has stopped transit of Roshen products in Russia through its territories.
"On Tuesday, when the information appeared on the prohibition of import of Roshen products in Russia, we sent a letter to the customs authorities of Belarus to ban its transit through our territory in the direction of Russia," Gayevski noted.
