Desecration of the national flag of Ukraine by members of the Bloodhound Gang American punk band, committed during performances in Kyiv and Odesa clubs, is totally unacceptable, deputy director of the information policy department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Olena Vashchenko said in comments to ForUm correspondent.
"There are moral and ethical grounds to speak about the absolute unacceptability of actions performed by the American musical group, taking place in Odesa and Kyiv clubs and covered by media," she said.
Vashchenko is confident that the law enforcement bodies of Ukraine will address these incidents and appropriate measures will be taken. "Such actions, related to the outrage against state symbols, cannot be justified with any so-called "epatage," she streesed.
