The National Bank of Ukraine is constantly working on the development of the national system of mass payments, director of the general department of information technologies and payment systems of the National Bank of Ukraine Natalia Syniavska told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"As for the national system of mass payments and payment organization of the system, today there are 58 banks participating in this payment system, three of which 3 are state-run," she said.
At the same time, the representative of the NBU noted that the program for cashless payments, under which the NBU aims to modernize the national system for mass payments in accordance with international standards, is approved.
"The system is developing dynamically and I think it will be a big step to meet the needs of the population, and for the development of the internal market of cashless payments," she said.
