Tajik specialists have no complaints about the quality of confectionery produced by the Roshen Ukrainian company, supplied to the republic. This was stated by deputy head of the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Trade Inspection under the Government of Tajikistan Ibodullo Kurbonov.

"We regularly conduct quality checks of all products, imported into the country, including from Ukraine, and have no complaints to Ukrainian products," Kurbonov said. According to him, "after the Rospotrebnadzor found benzopyrene (a substance of hazard class) in Ukrainian chocolates, experts of the Agency in cooperation with other services conducted an additional check, but no harmful substances were detected".

As the Economic Development Ministry of Tajikistan explained, the production of the Roshen company is widely represented in the republic and is in demand among the population. According to various estimates, the Ukrainian sweets make up almost a quarter of total confectionery exports.
