Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government of the Russian Federation to submit proposals for participation of Russia in the activities in Ukraine dedicated to the liberation of its territory from the Nazis during World War II, the press service of the Kremlin informs.

In particular, the Government of the Russian Federation is requested to provide proposals till October 15 about participation of "the Russian side in the events held in the Republic of Belarus, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, dedicated to the liberation of their territories from the Nazis."

In addition, the Russian government should submit proposals on Russia's participation in the events held by the anti-Hitler coalition countries, dedicated to the defeat of the Nazi forces, as well as the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz by Soviet troops.
