The quality of the Roshen company's products, exported to Russia, is confirmed by Ukrainian laboratory examinations, agrarian policy and food minister of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk stated.
"The quality of Ukrainian products is confirmed by successful exports to the EU, and the growing demand among consumers in the Russian Federation. The positive outcome of the negotiations, which the Ukrainian side is ready to start on August 5, must reinforce confidence in the trade and economic relations between the two countries forever. On the part of the Economic Development Ministry, Ukraine is ready for such a dialogue, and the Agrarian Policy Ministry of Ukraine expresses its confidence in the quality of domestic products and research done by the Ukrainian laboratories," the minister assured.
According to Prysiazhniuk, Ukraine confidently consolidates its status of one of the world's leading manufacturers of agricultural products. That is why the quality check is carried out at a high level. The minister is convinced that the isolated claims should be discussed and resolved without delay.
"Ukraine has a strict quality control of food products in accordance with the requirements of the EU and subject to the conditions of entry into the Free Trade Area. One of the priorities is the implementation of the HACCP system in the production capacity of enterprises. The claims relate not to quality of products, and are in the plane of the need for negotiations regarding trade and economic relations. All the relevant ministries of Ukraine and Ukrainian producers are ready for the beginning of the dialogue," agrarian policy and food minister said.
