A network of social services centers will be set up in Ukraine, first vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov said during the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.

"It is very important for us to improve rendering of social assistance to Ukrainians. This system should not be a barrier to people, so our goal is to make these services accessible and effective," the official stressed.

Arbuzov explained that such centers will provide a new quality of work of social workers, and optimize the amount of documentation. "Providing all kinds of social services will be concentrated in a single center, respectively, comfortable environment will be provided. In this regard, I instruct social policy minister Natalia Korolevska to take personal control over these processes," first vice PM said.

Arbuzov reminded that such centers are to be opened in every region of the country before 2014.
