The government promises to prevent unreasonable increase in prices for agricultural products, first deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov declared, opening a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.
"It is important that every Ukrainian feels a high yield in Ukraine, so the government intends to control strictly the prices for agricultural products. We will not allow unreasonable growth of these products," he said.
Arbuzov stressed that over the last year, the average price for agricultural products decreased by 3%. In this regard, he emphasized that the issue of price for harvested grains will be actual.
"It is important to implement a mechanism to regulate grain prices. This issue has been recently highlighted by the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister," he said.
