Ambassador, the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine Madina Dzharbusinova hopes that Ukraine will continue improving organization of the electoral process and the electoral law. This she said yesterday, July 31, during a meeting with chairman of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine Mykhailo Okhendovsky.

According to her, the Central Election Commission is a reliable and stable partner in the implementation of OSCE projects in Ukraine, and the results of seven years of work together have a positive feedback in Vienna.

In turn, Okhendovsky noted that the conclusions of the ODIHR OSCE observation mission for the organization and conduct of elections in Ukraine are authoritative for the Ukrainian party, and is a kind of "road map" to further improving the electoral legislation of Ukraine, aimed at ensuring the implementation and protection of constitutional rights of citizens of Ukraine election. 

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss cooperation within the framework of the project "Developing the capacity to provide training in the electoral process and to raise awareness of voters" who is implemented by the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine, with the financial support of the Canadian International Development Agency and the Foreign Ministry since April 2012 to December 2013, as well as the prospects for future cooperation.

Dzharbusinova expressed the hope that the vector of Ukraine's democratic development will be strengthened with further cooperation on improving the organization of the electoral process and the electoral law, as well as raising awareness of the Ukrainian voters.
