The European Union will sign the Association Agreement with Ukraine by the end of November, foreign minister of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius told BTB TV Channel in exclusive commentary.

"We support Ukraine and the whole process of the association. It is clear from our statements, our respect and support for relations. We cannot take sides in the course of negotiations while we are presiding over the European Union, but we would like to see the agreement signing," Linkevičius said.

In his view, convergence with the European Union will not spoil the established cooperation with other countries and regions, and will only open up new prospects.

"The European Union is one of the largest organizations in the world, in many ways, particularly in the economy, and each country is important for others. Ukraine itself is a very big state. I believe that due to its contribution in all areas of work in the long term, Ukraine can really get much," foreign minister concluded.
