Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych sent his condolences to President of Italy Giorgio Napolitano over the fatal crash of a coach with pilgrims in the country’s Province of Avellino.
"On behalf of the Ukrainian people and myself, I extend to you and the bereaved families our deep condolences, and ask you to convey words of support and wishes of quick recovery to the injured," reads the text posted on the president’s web site on Monday, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
As reported, at least 38 people were killed and 11 injured in Sunday’s coach crash in southern Italy.
