The Russian, Moldovan and Serbian Presidents have confirmed they will attend the celebrations of the 1025th anniversary of the Christianization of Rus in Kyiv, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.

"The confirmation received from the presidents of Russia Moldova and Serbia remains in effect," Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis stated.

"No confirmation has been received whether the Belarusian president will arrive," he said, Interfax-Ukraine informed.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry earlier said that the heads of nine and delegations of six local Orthodox churches had confirmed they will attend.

Events marking the 1025th anniversary of the Christianization of Kyivan Rus will be held in Kyiv on July 26-28.

The venue of the celebrations will then be moved to Belarus.
