Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a working visit to Ukraine on July 27-28 and will take part in events celebrating the 1025th anniversary of Christianization of Kyivan Rus, the Kremlin press service reported on Wednesday.

On July 27, Putin will join a celebratory prayer service on Volodymyrska Hill in Kyiv and will visit Kyiv Pechersk Monastery, where he will present Russian state decorations to hierarchs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the Moscow Patriarchate for their contribution to the development of friendly relations between the two nations and strengthening of spiritual traditions, it said, Interfax informed.

During the visit, Putin will hold negotiations with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, at which they two plan to discuss key subjects of bilateral cooperation, primarily that in the trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields, and exchange opinions on relevant issues of integration cooperation on the Eurasian territory.

On July 28, the Ukrainian and Russian Presidents will travel to Sevastopol to take part in Navy Day celebrations.
