Customs procedures at borders will be simplified for the pilgrims, who will come to Ukraine to celebrate the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Kyiv Rus, First Vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov said, opening a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world will come to celebration of the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Kyiv Rus in Ukraine, and we need to demonstrate a high level of hospitality. Therefore, we must simplify customs procedures for the pilgrims," he said.

In this regard, Arbuzov instructed the Infrastructure Ministry to provide transportation of pilgrims coming to Kyiv.

Moreover, he added that the Health Ministry should prepare the required number of dispensaries, and the Interior Ministry - to maintain order in the streets and provide the required number of patrols.

"This is a great holiday for all Orthodox Christians in the world. Therefore, we need to demonstrate that Christian values are the foundation of our state," Arbuzov summed up.
