Citizens in need of treatment abroad to get foreign passports first

First Vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov instructed the State Migration Service of Ukraine to issue the foreign passports first of all to the citizens, who are in need of urgent medical treatment abroad. He said this, opening a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.

In addition, the First Vice Prime Minister instructed the Finance Ministry to create a supply of blank passports in the amount of 50 thousand in case of seasonal or artificial fluctuations in demand for them. He also instructed the relevant agencies to reduce the passport cost.

Arbuzov noted that yesterday he inspected the "Ukraina" Printing House. "The process of printing and transmission of blank passports is in normal mode. I note that the “Ukraina” Printing House and the Interior Ministry timely perform the order of the President and the government. Thus, only the last week, the Printing House gave the State Migration Service about 40 thousand forms with necessary 4-5 thousand forms a day," Arbuzov said.
