Ukrainian citizen, who was arrested in UK, refuses to communicate with the Ukrainian Embassy, director of the information policy department of the Foreign Ministry Yevhen Perebyinis told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The Ukrainian Embassy in London has repeatedly raised the question as to arrange a meeting with the citizen. However, he rejected it. This is recorded by British investigative bodies," he said.
According to Perebyinis, the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom will continue taking steps to arrange a meeting with the detained Ukrainian to provide him consular and legal assistance.
