Actions of law enforcement officers during crackdown of the rally against the tyranny of the police in the Independence Square in Kyiv in the evening of June 18, resulting in the injured journalists, will be given a legal assessment, deputy spokesperson of the Kyiv Interior Ministry department Olha Bilyk told Forum correspondent.
"Journalists reported that they were damaged by the police officers. We registered information. Now we investigate into the accident. There were a lot of people, a conflict situation, there were many provocations. In any case, the information is verified. The decision will be taken in accordance with applicable law, the actions of law enforcement officers will be given a legal assessment," she said.
According to Bilyk, the information about alleged order to use force against the media is not true.
