The Interior Ministry intends to re-certificate police officers, minister Vitaly Zakharchenko told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reported.
"We intend to hold a re-certification of police officers. First of all, it concerns the district police offices, where some emergencies already happened. We'll start with them. After that, we will study in detail all the complaints of citizens. Re-certification of staff will be conducted in offices, where there will be a difficult operating environment, complaints about the work of law enforcement agencies," he said.
The minister added that the concept of police reform is ready, and stressed that the process has already begun with the adoption of the new Criminal Code.
