Interior minister of Ukraine Vitaly Zakharchenko did not come out to the demonstrators, as had information that political activists came as well.
"I wanted to come out to the demonstrators, to meet, but I received the information, after which I decided only to meet with residents of village of Vradiyivka," he said.
The minister noted that during the meeting, which was attended by three residents of Vradiyivka, they, in particular, set out vision of situation.
"They asked me to do everything for the people, who emotionally spoke and act against the police officers, to avoid being brought to justice. I gave a promise to them. As a minister, I will do everything to ensure these people are not brought to justice," Zakharchenko said.
