The Republic of Poland opened the consulate general in Donetsk last week and delayed development of the network in Ukraine.

This was announced by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Poland to Ukraine Henryk Litwin at the meeting with the first deputy chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Serhiy Derhunov.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador informed that the opened consulate general in Donetsk is the 8th in Ukraine.

He noted that Poland decided to suspend the further expansion of the consular network in Ukraine.

"We do not have the capacity to continue this work. We suspend the growth of the network," he said.

The consulate general in Donetsk will serve Donetsk, Zaporozhia and Luhansk regions.
