Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 will take place on November 30. Kyiv won the right to host the contest.

According to the Executive Supervisor of Eurovision Vladyslav Yakovlev, this year there will be several innovations in the show. In particular, the second and third prizes of the competition are introduced.

The two-hour competition for viewers will be broadcast live on television. The contestants will sing one song. The winner will be chosen by the jury and spectators from the participating countries.

The interest on the part of broadcasters across Europe remains high. Some of them have already completed the process of selection, while others are currently seeking a performer at the age of 10-15 years.

The contest is open only to broadcasters, who are members of the European Broadcasting Union.
