Average pension in Ukraine grew by 19% for six months

For the first six months of 2013, the average pension increased by 19%, social policy minister of Ukraine Natalia Korolevska told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

The minister stressed that for five months of this year, the average pension amounted to 1478 UAH. This is by 19% more than during the same period last year.

Korolevska stressed that this was achieved by increasing the amount of pension payments. Thus, according to the profile minister, the first half of 2013, the pension payments increased by 11%, which amounted to 124 UAH.
