Ukraine suspends natural gas supplies from Hungary during the period of August 1-15 of the current year to expand the supply corridor, Hungarian gas transmission system operator FGSZ LTD said.
According to him, the suspension is reasoned by the plans of PJSC "Ukrtransgas" for the development of pipeline capacity for gas intake by the Ukrainian side.
The gas supplies from Hungary are carried out according to the technical agreement between PJSC "Ukrtransgas" and FGSZ LTD (Hungary). Technical ability to receive gas from Hungary is up to 5 million cubic meters. The "Ukrtransgas" planned to carry out the necessary technical measures to increase the possibility of gas intake from Hungary up to 15 million cubic meters.
