32 km of heating systems will be shifted by new heating season in Kyiv, deputy technical director of PJSC "Kyivenergo", head of heating department Hryhoriy Saenko told a roundtable, ForUm correspondent reports.
"About 270 million UAH are expected to spend on modernization and reconstruction of the thermal block this year. In general, 800 million UAH are provided for preparation of energy and electricity, and in general for the equipment. Relaying networks is also included in these works. This year there will be shifted 32 km of heating systems: 7 km of main thermal power systems and 25 km of heat distribution systems," he said.
Saenko also noted that last year there were shifted 82 km of heating systems. At the same time, he said, 130-150 km of heating systems should be shifted in Kyiv every year to reduce the number of accidents.
He added that in general, the company is preparing for the new heating season, according to the schedules.
Saenko also complained about the debts of electricity and thermal energy consumers before "Kyivenergo" worth over $ 2.5 billion UAH. According to him, in this regard, the company can not pay for the received gas and has a debt of slightly more than 2 billion UAH.
