First deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov will be acting Prime Minister of Ukraine during the vacation of Mykola Azarov, Interfax-Ukraine reports, referring to the press service of the first vice Premier.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has taken a three-week vacation from July 15.
Azarov traditionally spends his summer vacation in Crimea. Last year, the Ukrainian Prime Minister was not on vacation.
According to Paragraph 4, Article 42 of the law on the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, if the Premier is absent, his powers are performed by the first deputy Prime Minister or deputy Prime Minister in accordance with the distribution of powers determined by the government.
