"5 million 330 thousand square meters of pits have been recorded since the beginning of the year. As of today, virtually 5 million 40 thousand square meters were eliminated. 290 thousand square meters, which is about 6%, still need to be repaired," he said.

The official said that at present the repairs are not completed in Lviv region (79 sq. m.), in many parts of Chernivtsi region (19 sq. m.), Cherkasy region (57 sq. m.), Chernihiv region (51 thousand square m.), Zakarpatska region (31 sq. m.), as well as in some parts of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Prusenko noted that the repairs will be completed by the end of July, but in Lviv region he could end up in the middle of August.

Chairman of the "Ukravtodor" also informed that there are areas of roads on which patching can’t correct the situation, and therefore there have to resort to laying a solid fabric. In general, the length of such portions is greater than 200 km.
