First deputy foreign minister Ruslan Demchenko met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy Fabrizio Romano in Ukraine, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
During the meeting, they discussed the issues on relations between Ukraine and the EU. In this context, the Italian party expressed its support for the European aspirations of Ukraine and practical steps in this direction, particularly in the context of the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius.
They also discussed the state and prospects of development of the bilateral dialogue between two countries, in particular, the preparation of mutual visits of the foreign ministers of Ukraine and Italy in the near future.
