The Health Ministry of Ukraine strengthens control over maintenance of cancer patients with drugs that are purchased at the expense of public funds, deputy health minister Oleksandr Kachur told a briefing, the press service of the Health Ministry reported.
"In order to use these drugs for their intended purpose, the Health Ministry has approved the decree on monitoring the use of medicines purchased at public expense. This document provides a tough reporting on the use of drugs, as well as regular updates on balances and their subsequent redistribution," Kachur said.
According to the first deputy health minister, such control is extremely important due the fact that oncological disease is one of the most urgent health problems of mankind today.
