PR sees no reason for establishing commission to dismiss CEC head

The Party of Regions sees no reason to create a commission to accept the resignation of the chairman of the Central Election Commission Volodymyr Shapoval, MP from the Party of Regions faction Volodymyr Oliynyk told journalists, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We see no legal basis to create a commission to dismiss the head of the Central Election Commission, as required by the opposition. There must be legal grounds, not whims," Oliynyk said.

According to him, creation of a commission will lead to nothing.

"Evaluation of the actions of the collegial body through the prism of the commission is a road to nowhere," he said.
