A wide network of bread shops should be set up in Ukraine for complete satisfaction of the population's needs, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said during a visit to one of the plants in Kyiv region on Tuesday.
"The government creates all necessary conditions for opening of modern enterprises in Ukraine. Implementing this project, we have created completely new conditions for investors," he said.
The government head added that, in particular, in Kyiv, over the future year about 500 bread shops will be constructed, which will be located at housing complexes near dwelling houses. "The same policy should be pursued in other regions too," Azarov stressed.
He noted that it is possible to ensure normal prices for bakery products, in particular, through construction of modern bread-baking complexes and assured that the government will support such projects.
