President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych demands urgent investigation into rape of 29-year-old Iryna Krashkova in village Vradiyivka of Mykolayiv region.
As ForUm learned from the President’s press service, Yanukovych instructed Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka to hold a meeting with the leadership of the Security Service and the Interior Ministry to examine all the facts of participation of law enforcement agencies in unlawful activities to provide appropriate evaluation, response and development of measures for the future.
"The leaders of the Security Service and the Interior Ministry should in the near future to hold boards on fact-finding and prevention of crime. The result of the boards should be a clear plan for harmonizing the actions of personnel of law enforcement agencies with the requirements of the current legislation," the President instructed.
Yanukovych took investigation by the General Prosecutor's Office under personal control.
