10% of students, who passed external independent testing, did not get the minimum required score, rector of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University Leonid Hubersky told a press briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"According to data, 90% of the applicants did not come for testing. 10% of those who passed EIT, did not get minimum 124 points," he said.

He also added that 160 people had the highest score - 200 points - in the Ukrainian language and literature testing, while 20 thousand people failed to pass the exam. 157 people scored 200 points in mathematics, and 13 thousand people did not have the minimum score.

In general, he said, 315 thousand 800 people passed EIT in the Ukrainian language and literature, 197 thousand people - in mathematics, and 195 thousand - in history.

According to Hubersky, this year there were fewer applicants than in the last year. "This year we had 322 thousand applicants. Last year, there were nearly 400 thousand," he said.
