Basis for regional development will be provided in the state budget-2014, the President announced during a meeting with candidates for the post of chairmen of regional state administrations, the press office of the head of state reported on Wednesday.
"Next year, the center of gravity will be moved to the regions. Let’s wait for the draft budget in September. I think that it will be at least 55 to 45," the head of state noted.
According to the President, delegation of authorities is completely natural process, because local government better knows the needs of every city and district.
"We must gradually transfer authorities and responsibility to the regions. The country always wins when there is a coordinated work of regions and the center. I support the delegation of authorities to the regions," the President emphasized.
