4924 stalls legally operate in Kyiv, deputy director of the department for industry and business development of the KCSA and head of the department for trade and household Stanislav Holubov said during an extended meeting of the Board of the Kyiv State City Administration, ForUm correspondent reports.
"According to preliminary data, 15-20 thousand stalls currently operate in Kyiv, as a result the city budget loses about 66-100 million UAH per year," he said.
According to him, the solution of the problem of illegal kiosks can be achieved by disconnecting them from electricity, allowing dismantling them more quickly.
Holubov also stressed that the work of services for kiosk demolition should be transparent.
